Kelly M. Smith (1969)

Kelly M. Smith delivers a sermon at the Appalachian Preaching Mission on Tuesday, February 13, 1969 in Johnson City, Tennessee. Smith preaches that although eventually believers in Christ will transition into a new heaven and earth, they should not pitch their tents and declare the victory is won; there is still work to be done.

Smith served as First Baptist Church, Capitol in Nashville and has served as a professor at Vanderbilt University, the American Baptist Theological Seminary, and the head of the department of Religion at Natchez College.

In the sermon, Smith references Revelation 21:1.
