Correspondence with Speakers

The letters below are mainly correspondence between preaching mission speakers and the chairman of the committee (which usually changed on a yearly basis). I made an effort to include correspondence of speakers whose sermons I have included on the site.

Also included is a 1961 letter to Leighton Ford, who served as Associate Evangelist and later as Vice President for the Billy Graham Association, and a letter to well-known Southern Baptist minister Charles Stanley. Though Ford could not make the preaching mission, he did preach a crusade in Johnson City in 1962. Stanley was unable to make it to the 1980 preaching mission.
