Stephen Shadegg preaches a sermon at the Appalachian Preaching Mission on Thursday, February 13, 1958. Shadegg argues that Christians should spend more time serving God and the church, which will allow them to be seen as a witness in Christ. Preceding the sermon, APM music director Dean Jacoby leads the congregation in "There's Within My Heart a Melody."
Relevant documents attached below include the letter inviting Shadegg to speak at the mission and the 1958 Johnson City Appalachian Preaching Mission brochure.
Shadegg was a notable political consultant, author, and conservative religious philosopher.
